WELCOME TO THE STUDIO DIARY
The Studio Diary is the editorial home of Encore, an open journal where strength meets style and wellness becomes a form of self-expression.
This is a space for those who see wellness as more than a routine. It’s for the aesthetically curious, for those who believe discipline can coexist with desire, and strength and style belong in the same sentence.
Think of it as part interview series, part moodboard, and part love letter to the culture of wellness.
Here, I’ll be sharing the people, spaces, and rituals that inspire me, from the studios I return to, to the objects that live rent-free in my camera roll. You’ll find conversations with creatives, founders, and thinkers who are quietly shaping the way we move, feel, and live. Expect curated product edits, thoughtful essays, travel notes, and the occasional glimpse into my own obsessions: art, interiors, music, brands, and of course, Pilates.
I wanted to create a space that connects the dots between design, movement, and self. A community grounded in genuine connection, discovery, and shared curiosity. A place where lifestyle, wellness, and fashion meet not as categories but as expressions of the same pursuit: living beautifully.
About Me
I’m Emily, a 25-year-old luxury brand strategist turned Pilates instructor turned founder.
I grew up a ballerina, always drawn to the language of the body, though for years I tried to translate that passion into words, brands, and strategy decks. In the end, after battling the mental and physical symptoms of burnout, I found my way back to the body through Pilates, back to movement, presence, and purpose.
My philosophy, and the one behind Encore, is rooted in what I call Conscious Hedonism. For a long time, I believed that discipline alone was the key to wellness. But strictness is often what leads to burnout. Conscious Hedonism is about respecting the different buckets that bring you health and happiness, and understanding the duality between them. It’s knowing that it’s okay not to give one hundred percent to both structure and spontaneity at the same time. It’s about trusting yourself to know what you need, both in the moment and in the long run. Pilates at sunrise, a margarita at sunset.
At its core, it’s about finding the rituals that bring joy. With Encore, my mission is to help you uncover the moments and movements that nourish both sides, wellness that feels so good, you’ll keep coming back for more.

A Final Note
I hope you enjoy Encore as much as I’ve enjoyed bringing it to life. It’s been a passion project built from equal parts curiosity, movement, and love - created for you, and shaped by the rituals that make us feel most alive.
This space is just beginning, and I’d love to hear from you as it grows. Any thoughts, feedback, or reflections are always welcome.
Here’s to what comes next - and to finding wellness worth repeating.
